Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains your right to withdraw from an order, and what happens if you cancel a project at any stage. It should be read alongside §8 of the Terms.

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

As an EU consumer buying a service at a distance, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of placing it, without giving a reason, under Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code. To withdraw, email support@copywriteexperts.com stating your order reference; we'll confirm and process your refund within 14 days.

2. When you ask us to start work immediately

Because our turnaround times are fixed and short, most buyers expressly ask us, at checkout, to begin work before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. If you do this:

• You may still withdraw during the 14-day period, but your right of withdrawal then applies only in proportion to the service not yet performed.
• Once delivery of the final copy is complete, your right of withdrawal lapses entirely.
• If you don't ask us to start immediately, we hold your brief for up to 14 days before beginning work.

3. Cancelling before work starts

If you cancel before we've accepted your brief and begun drafting, you receive a full refund of the amount paid, regardless of the 14-day window.

4. Cancelling after work has started

Once we've accepted your brief and begun drafting, cancelling before delivery means we retain 50% of the package price to cover the work already carried out, and refund the remaining 50%.

5. After delivery

Once we've delivered the final copy for a package (or, for a retainer, a given month's articles/emails/posts), that portion is non-refundable — but it carries the revision rounds included in your package.

6. Monthly retainers (SEO, Newsletter, Social)

Retainers run month to month with no lock-in beyond the current cycle. Cancel or pause with notice before the next billing date.

7. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email support@copywriteexperts.com with your order reference and the reason (optional, but helpful). We confirm receipt within one working day and process any refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
